Geespace independently designs, develops, deploys, and operates the global LEO satellite Internet of Things (IoT) constellation GEESATCOM. From 2022 to 2025, the company successfully completed six consecutive satellite launches, achieving full deployment of Phase I of the constellation. Through the construction and operation of the constellation, Geespace provides commercial satellite IoT communication services to global users, empowering applications across intelligent connected vehicles, marine fisheries, construction machinery, low-altitude mobility, emergency communications, transportation and logistics, public infrastructure, energy, water conservancy, agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry, contributing to the development of a future-oriented mobility and technology ecosystem.
Tony Wang, Ph.D., is currently CEO and Scientist of GEESPACE, Chairman of Qingdao GEESATCOM Technology CO., LTD., Guangzhou LANEPOSITION Technology CO., LTD., and Taizhou GEESATELLITE Technology CO., LTD. He used to work in Huawei and Micro Satellite Innovation Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Used to serve as the general manager and the executive deputy general manager of more than two state-owned space satellite research and development enterprises, with many years of experience in national satellite engineering projects as well as rich and solid management experience in state-owned aerospace enterprises. He led the development of "Jiading No.1" IoT communication satellite for four years, and successfully launched it in 2018, kicking off China's first IoT communication constellation layout. In 2018, he established GEESPACE with Geely's strategic investment.
